its really simple, but you just gotta detach the clothing into separate pieces, because when the skirt fits, the shirt doesn't, and vice versa, but i have no idea how to make them both individually moveable instead of one object

Other option to get the clothing to fit onto meatcat is... make them work for meatcat through blender. (And also learn how to use blender too heh.) Then you can basically have any clothing from any base just about within reason, attached to any avatar you want.

@BasedKawaii I mean... to be fair, eventually if you wanna be able to have your avatar be unique and different, you do have to learn the likes of Blender and Unity proper instead of using simplified tools provided to make sense of a system that not many know how to use properly so... yeah. Also, to be fair most of blender's functions you can truthfully ignore if all you care is to use it to attach and modify clothing to fit a given avatar it was not originally designed for exactly.
All you need to know really for modifying and attaching clothing to avatars that said clothing wasn't originally designed for, but could fit on with modification, is how to utilize the vertex edit mode, how to mess around with the weights(primarily weight names typically.) as well as working with armatures. Other than that, the only other thing you will want to know for Blender is what settings to use for exporting models as fbx files, especially for Unity, which generally the main thing is the unit scale, which you want to be FBX Units Scale in that drop down. -
