LF: Someone to convert pc to quest!
-
I've been trying so hard to figure out how to convert a few avatars of mine into quest. I keep getting stuck on making the physbones to work. I know there is a limit on quest but I know you can get some to work.
I kinda got ripped off by a creator. When I bought the avatar it said it was pc/quest and even the demo avatar in their world was pc/quest but when I bought it I only got the pc file and the creator just told me that I'd have to do it myself if I wanted a quest version. They claimed they advertised it as it COULD be turned to quest not that you'd get a quest file.
I'm willing to pay!! I just really want to use these avatars and have working physbones with it! Please help! ;o;

@perrito I've been using the quest tools and every time I do it, it removes all the physbones off the avi when I upload it. I hate when avis down have at least some physbones and the demo version they had, had some physbones in the hair, ears, and tail.

If you can send me a screenshot at any point when you can, it'd be nice to see what exactly you're having trouble with. Since I've never had this issue when I convert my avatars for quest.
@perrito I keep running into an issue where it claims the avatar has too many physbones and I don't know how to edit physbones so I think it just removes all of them. I'm like so confused at what I'm doing. I've opened so many projects but every time I upload it has no physbones.

@TiredBorgy When you use the VRCQuestTool program, go to the menu - click on avatar dynamics settings, and a menu will open where you have to select the bones that will work and that will be deleted in the avatar. At the bottom of the menu is a limit that you should not exceed. Most often you can't load the avatar because of physbone colliders, and you have to remove them too.
Just choose the most important bones you want to keep and reconvert the avatar. (e.g. ears, tail, chest, etc).
Also to convert the avatar should not exceed the size of the mesh and textures, so I advise you to reduce the texture size and remove some objects. -
