vrmodels staff

@Sleepybunnzz I'm sorry about that. It's actually crazy. because when you snap back and say something they immediately blame u saying that we're spreading false info by telling them to do better because of their responses, like hello?
-
@Angel009 it sucks, i just started to stop responding when they do that, no point in arguing. yk? but it sucks cus there's no way to get the "awards" removed and simply asking about something makes you feel stupid if they decide to respond
-
@Sleepybunnzz Yes exactly!! it makes you feel so stupid because of how belittling they are
-
i've left only one comment on a post that was about an avatar that was completely ripped off by a mutual friend of mine by the creator and i had a bunch of vigilantes pop up defending the creator on a ripping site have seen plenty of rude remarks by the vrmodels staff though, not sure why they're always SO MAD about simple things, esp. when they haven't updated their FAQ in forever which would help a lot of the simple questions to be answered
-
@jackalrabbit yup exactly, then you get the "special people" award from them because they like to belittle thinking they are above everyone else. went into the community side just to see what was going on and theres a person arguing with a support person or whatever and damn. The support person comes off as so rude lol
-
Yup! Right before the site went down for maintenance, I was scared to tell them that their downloads were busted because I saw some of their replies. Like every download topped out at 50Kb/s. Thankfully other people followed up after I commented, and they tried to convince all of us our internet was slow until they couldn't anymore. Pretty sure if my internet was less than 1Mb/s I wouldn't be playing VRChat but ok lol.
-
To be fair to them, if you don't know the basics of avatar uploading, then you shouldn't even be on these sites to begin with.
Learning the basics of unity and blender is not hard at all, and if an idiot like myself could do it then everyone else could as well. The amount of "HoW tO uPlOaD aVaTaR" questions they get is beyond me, so I fully understand why they'd be snappy.
-
@Sleepybunnzz They're a grumpy bunch
-
I also thought one of the staff was extremely against furries for some reason..? Overall, they just seem really rude and belittle people for asking understandable questions. I can understand if someone asks "how to upload" because that's an annoyingly common thing to ask, but this goes well beyond that
-
@LeonSexKennedy My words exactly. I get the upload thing but they are overally snappy about ANYTHING.
-
It's crazy how rude and threatening they are. I sent a simple note letting them know that one of their avatars had been flagged by my antivirus software as a trojan, so I thought I should report that to them. That's the kind of stuff I'd think they'd want to know about. Their responses were insane.
