see i can get it into unity but my problem is he has no body for some reason, literally everything works but theres no body that exists

Please use Unity 2019 to open it. You can choose to use VCC to open it, but please choose Add Exiting Project.
Please do not update SDK or other plugin in the project. Otherwise, I am not sure the project could work again.
Please check the blue print ID of the model, and choose de-attach to clear the old blue-print ID.Your problem Unity 2022

@EvilAiire but vrc wont let me upload it unless its the new sdk?

i haven't even opened the project yet so maybe i'm wrong about this, but if there are different outfits and hair and whatnots included, would it not be better to split them up into separate avatars rather than trying to upload a model with everything

yaoki uses a really peculiar way to distrubute the unity files. but yeah the uploading went through and actually saved the trouble of importing different packages by user themselves. They reason why other creators dont do this is probably bc he includes plenty of assets and packages that would have required you to purchase them individually (DPS, poiPro, avi base from booth, etc). Wonder if he would get in trouble eventually if the creators catch him.

@onionking When you distribute the project as a zip, delete the Library folder. That contains cached files and will more than double the filesize.

@avatarofcorn its better with the library folder or i'll wait 3 hours to elaborate every single file... and actually the .zip @onionking sent us is the original file you download from Yaoki gumroad.

You have to see what is causing it, might be hitting the uncompressed limit meaning you have to remove some stuff or turn down the rez on textures, thry's avatar performance tools help out on avatar size but its not fully accurate but gives you a estimate of whats making it very high

@KemonoFriend1260 Oh that was really helpful! From what I've read, apparently there's a bug that doubles texture memory n what not when using unity 2019 which causes an issue when uploading. So Thry's tools were a life saver!
