@NullCipher VN3 doesn't apply only to Japan, I put below why. I know at the very least from a legalistic standpoint they have to at least make the attempt to protect their license or they effectively lose it. So while you might not like it, they need to be doing what they are. It's effectively the same as how copyright and patent laws from one country have no teeth unless they are actively enforced. The only difference is scale.
Not that any of this matters in the end on this website, I just thought what you said seemed a little short sighted.

If you are a right-holder residing outside of Japan, we recommend that you avoid using this license as it is. If you wish to use the generator, you should indicate in the special notes section that you want to change the governing law and jurisdiction.[For users]
