Because of these kids-obsessed people, half the internet is in ruins or only works through a VPN. How do you decide to determine whether someone is 18 or not? Will you demand a passport and check it? Or is registration in VRChat only possible with a passport? All you want is to create additional problems for everyone and nothing more. This idiocy has been going on in our country since 2012, tilting at windmills. Do you think anything helped? Yes. Kids learned to use VPNs, putting a strain on ISPs. A lot of money tilting at windmills. And also problems for those who are already 18 years old.
If you want to keep your room 18+, create a forum where you check IDs and grant access to your room, and enjoy. However, you'll be almost alone there, as this issue mostly affects you alone. For example, I'd rather delete VRChat than give anyone my passport. And nothing would stop me from giving someone a photo of someone else's fake adult passport.

If your problem is with giving VRChat your information to get 18+ Verified, that's your issue. Already so many of us are 18+ Verified and quite frankly, this system just only ensures the worlds we enjoy STAY up instead of getting booted for being sexual or mature in the first place. VRChat isn't supposed to be a kids game. Go to REC Room if you want kid friendly. I'm cool with anyone playing VRChat, but if I'm in an ADULT based instance, i expect to see ADULTS. Not kids. VPN's cannot bypass 18+ instances anyway, so that argument is moot though.

He'll just verify through someone else and that's it. A lot of time, money, and additional actions will go down the drain.
There are no guarantees for you, except for groups where you all know each other and use your closed worlds, where the owner of the world grants the right of entry. A good example is right where we are now, entry is by invitation only.
Regarding VPNs, I mean, in our country, they persistently block all 18+ content—something about the image being off or something else they don't like—so that children don't access it, or so they say, fight terrorists. As a result of the recent blocking of one game, children learned to use VPNs and were able to access all the previously blocked content.
I've just been watching this nonsense since 2012 and I'm kind of fed up with it all.
And I don't consider VRChat an adult game; it stands for Virtual Chat, not pornography chat.
Just think about how much it is actually possible and makes sense, and not just what you want. -

@Rittsuu While I was walking around outside, I realized something. Login based on your verification is complete nonsense for at least two reasons. First, I need to buy VRChat+, which I don't need (if I could, I'd spend it better on BOOTH). Second, in my country, it's because of the stupid sanctions, and sometimes I need a VPN because of restrictions in my country, and you can only pay for it through third-party services. Once again, I confirm that creating a problem is just creating more problems.

@Demopan How exactly do you determine whether an avatar is 18 or not? In the real world, the real difference, to me, is hair in one spot, but some people get laser hair removal there. Height? Nonsense. Breasts? Also nonsense. You determine this only by the date of birth in the passport, but does the avatar have a passport? Okay, I'll add a passport to my avatar as an item in their inventory indicating they're 18, and then what? Idiocy.

@dragonash2023There are direct penalties for breaking the law; it's currently being worked on in our country for using VPNs and visiting banned websites, which covers half the internet. When it's accepted, access will be available to those with a pass, sound familiar? Again, if you want to distance yourself from your children, create something that works and can't be circumvented, not try to fight the wind. Restricting children's access to VRChat could be done by law if VRChat were a government-run platform, not a public one.
Yes, I'm simplifying. You're making a distinction between what's for children and what's not. Most often, only pornography and everything related to it, along with rivers of blood, are removed from children's reach.

Today I don't play, tomorrow I'll start playing, and to get half the features I need VRChat+, and to get the other half I need verification. It doesn't affect me now, but tomorrow it will. You have to live for more than just today. So half the Internet fell into ruins.Ask VRChat for a simple feature to set a password for a new world when loading it, and that's it. Whoever has the password will launch your world. A simple solution. Instead of all this hassle with verification and other nonsense.
