I get you and the others bringing it up is just making awareness, but you have to understand that an announcement like that is going to end up causing a stir from some people.
It's not a matter of "if", but a matter of "when".
Some people are a lot more open-mouthed about speaking about drama. Bringing dramas up here is what got the last thread locked and forced us to make a new one.
Spreading awareness is a noble cause, but in the end, it will just cause trouble. This thread has a history of it.
If you want to spread awareness, you can always just make a separate thread for discussion about it.
You have seen with your own eyes what arguments can sprout up from posting it in this thread. This could very well happen again and again and just cause the thread to lock again.
The announcement is, of course, very important and it's fucked up what's happened, but just be mindful of the fallout, is all I ask.
If someone's a major problem for the community, you should flag them. And people did that, so it's fine!

so im a little confused about the ploof situation im aware they ripped from a minor but didnt like everyone rip from minors and make minors edits nsfw? krazy was a minor when she started and everyone ripped her shit, im a little confused on what the difference is here? or am i missing something? the edit is cute, but is it really this problematic?? i dont think i have the full story or something, the edit isnt of the minors oc now THAT would be a different story, it was one of their publics

im also saying this because i have some edits i want to remake to give you all which some do come from well that person and krazy and many others, i didnt even know they were a minor but their edits are so cute, i always think that main ocs are the poeples persona's so ofc taking a minors main oc is weird but if they make publics of characters, that character isnt them? i wasnt planning on making any nsfw's but different outfits yes, if it is really problematic i can skip those poeple i just thought, everyone had already done this stuff, we are rippers our moral code is already gone the moment we ripped from any creator, we are considered bad, not illegal or anything awful but creators wont like us of course. also sorry if this message confused you im not the best with talking or poeple in general, im just asking if the character isnt really connected to the creator, like main oc or something why is it bad to rip from them? even though ive seen personally some of you guys rip from minors before??
