im confused at the gatekeeping with extra steps, is this just to stop lurkers or what?
like i understand its expensive, but its not like the creator needs the password to dmca the link from the file hostIgnore whats above as thats my old message (left for transparency just striked so no one takes it as the current message)
im assuming that you didnt intend to come off the way you did prior about the password thing so,

Thanks for sharing even tho I don't think I will download. I just wonder why some avatars are Hella expensive like that?
@Donut its usually one of four reasons, its either
A). the creator spent a lot of time on the avatar and wants a stupid amount cause of it.
B).the creator is treating it not like a product but as if its a commission that you the buyer paid for (which is stupid)
C). the creator has an ego and thinks their content is better than what you can find on the site and feels the prices are justified
D). the creator knows the price is stupid high and doesnt care, they know someone will pay for it and treats it like passive income on steroidsim sure there are any number of other reasons they could be listing the avatar for as much as they do but these are usually the most likely suspects for reasons XD

But risk is no sales or only one? That mean so much time to create for... Not so much? Idk
Tbh I feel same about new creators or poorly made avis at the standard price.

but you are mostly right at least in situations like this, my guess is they dont care about the risk of no sales cause they have other sources of money flow and treat it as passive , i could be wrong but yeah
