It was copyright infringement, they likely got a warning from Netflix or a 3rd party company

@QueenZinx I think it's that making money off of things that someone else created is kind of wrong and very suable. It is pretty much like creating art of someone else's OC and selling that art to people without properly crediting or giving part of the money to the person who owns the OC. It's not their sole creation to make money off of. Which personally I think Netflix makes plenty of money as they do from the movie but the law is the law and companies like Netflix have the extra money to sue anyone anytime

@QueenZinx I also think other people get away with it by hiding that fact like renaming items to vague or general things. Making it discrete and changing the product slightly with their own flare to avoid copyright strikes. Most creators are smart about it, also some make assets of things from companies that don't have the money to sue, example is Crunchyroll or PBS, they don't have that kind of budget. Netflix does

@BlondeBunny it wasn't Netflix, it was Sony, they did the same shit to anything for Minecraft movie, all the assets from Minecraft were taken down by Pointless as well cause of Sony filing a copyright to them. Even stuff from before the movie was forced to be taken down by them.
