So I bit the bullet and purchased the files for Akai. I'm willing to share them if someone can help me remove the Gonso encryption! @Dinanuts

If someone could please assist me with removing Gonso from my avatar's files, I would greatly appreciate it. I literally cannot upload the files legitimately because Gonso keeps throwing errors saying I need a "valid vrchat account" even though I'm logged in on Unity.

I highly doubt she would give a gonso-free version of files. I did manage to get it uploaded though after fighting for a goddamn hour only to figure out that you need a specific version of VRCFury to upload her properly.

Ah shit. I already used my license key. Does that mean the encryption can't be removed? I thought there were other ways to remove it without needing a key? There may also be an exploit via VRCFury, as the latest versions of VRC broke the gonso encryption and make it throw an error loop of wanting a "validated vrchat account" in order to upload.

I'm not sure. If anyone here knows how to remove the encryption I can send the files and give my key even though I used it to upload her to my account. It might still work, but considering Strawbunny just revoked me from being able to buy anything from her shop I'm not entirely sure.

I could make the upload public but I'm afraid if I do so, Strawbunny will stalk and/or harass me as that seems to be a known pattern of behavior with her when it comes to her avatars being shared in any way.

So far I've heard of a couple ways but any method you choose requires an unused license key in order to break the encryption.

One method (and so far the easiest from what I've read) to break the encryption is to put in your license key to enable the avatar, and setup the upload as normal, then stop it when it reaches a certain point by going into task manager and closing Unity. Then when you re-open your project supposedly the Gonso encryption will be removed and you can delete the Gonso files from the project.

The other method involves something called "Shadowcopy" which has to be enabled on your PC and its a bit more complicated to do.
