I got a bit confused using this, so:

Mod asset directory is where the warudo mod process stuffs the prefab for it to convert into a .warudo file, make sure that this directory DOES NOT link directly into your assets folder in the unity project, it must be a folder inside assets. (this was causing the tool to not work for me)

Also make sure your mod export directory is directing to the characters folder for your warudo installation, along with creating a mod profile and naming it etc, etc

aside from all that, put component on avi and clicc button, then have fun!

        Thanks for sharing!! Does work!

Edit: Note there is "Errors relating to blendshape arkit translation."( some exported avatar can't emote) and need manually install NDMF package issue on this version. So it still have some major flaws.

No clue how to get past initial setup wizard. GIT refuses to add packages to unity. Probably my problem or something idk

@irawryou I believe that is the NDMF (Non-destructive Modular Framework) package, look at your vcc settings, add a community repo and shove this link (https://vpm.nadena.dev/vpm.json) in there.

After you've added the repository look in the manage project for a Non destructive modular framework package, and add the most recent version, that is the package that was causing issues for me, then continue the rest of the process.

@SquidieBlendie I did and it still doesn't do anything. That was the first thing I did, unless I installed the wrong thing?

@irawryou If you installed git at default setting and let it add to PATH, and this still says need install git, maybe try delete this package and install a newer 1.1.0 version.

If your git is installed but stuck getting the package, maybe it's a network issue, search how to get git using proxy and try again.

If you stuck at install NDMF, import that package using VCC before open Unity.

Does anyone here have trouble getting the lipsync/visemes to work after export?

I deal in BOOTH assets along with cool VFX.

edit: i see the component in the project tab but when i hit the add component button it doesn't appear

EDIT2 : my scripts "lack 'await' operators

EDIT3: I fixed it! the "await"s weren't the issue i just forgot dynamic bones

EDIT4: So i have been given a Character Prefab but how do i get a .warudo file?

stuck with the system not seeing that i have dynamic bones in the project

so after more checking its either a issue with the "BoneNormalization.cs" script (lines 41 and 44 in particular)

or unity just not seeing that the exporter added in dynamic bones

outside of that i have one other idea
