I mean, personally.. I do want the avatar but it IS understandable why he doesn't give it out. On the other hand though, if I had my own OC avatar which was on the same value and appearance as Cake's I personally think I would have it be public and just let everyone have their own version of it, after all it's their version, not mine. Thinking of it this way opens up a gateway to opportunity, allowing freedom of self and liberty over a virtual item which has no meaningful value in a real world scenario, yet it does not mean that it shouldn't be treated as worthless, my point being, if it were to go public I wouldn't start claiming myself as Cake, in other words I guess you could call me an alternate universe variant of him, therefore no copywrite of sorts or plagiarism, I don't want to be Cake, I just look like him.

@KronosK Don't get me wrong, I get that it sucks to not be able to get avatars like this and thankfully this site and VRModels helps up get these things for free when they're purchasable
But at the same time, this doesn't even seem like a thread for that kind of thing anymore. Just feels like a toxic way to shit on Cake just cause he does avatars and dares to not release avis of them when he has a justifiable reason behind it, being they're his characters.
Jesus Christ, VRC is already filled with degenerates and asshats, we don't need em on here either.

The difference is that Cake has a large following, so if you were to give out your oc Avi, many people may not see an issue with it cause of the low profile
But PB literally has plushes, rule34, etc of him. And I imagine Cake has some standards he doesn't wanna see PB apart of

@ATW definitely, it's Cake's every right to keep his personal avi to himself, and i'm not about to write a novel-sized post about how much i want it, but that won't stop me from at least looking for anyone who's trying to get it

@ATW I don't really want to take offense as it's an opinion. I was just stating that I understand why Cake has his preferences over publicity and such, I wanted to just get an ideology of my own across as I personally wouldn't want to strip things from people incase they wanted it so much as I really don't see a point to hogging things especially over things that people can get/make themselves. More limited things may have to be a different story, really depends on the topic. But by all means, if Cake wants his personal model private then that's his own thing, I won't flame him for it.

@T-1000 We can't obtain it, he has dextro's avatar protection system which makes ripping nearly impossible. We also have to deal with cache enryption. You'd be better off remaking the model using the mallkin base
