overused assets/bases

alot of western creators dont want to be model makers they just do asset-bashing to get quick money, unless some new really good relatively cheap premade assets come out its unlikely that people will use or even create other assets (fat models do get leaked though mainly from the furry communities since there isnt much humanoid wise to leak in the first place)

i absolutely HATE how the star light/sweaty heads are SOOOO overused and theyre the only ones that get leaked on here 90% of the time. the same stupid head with the stupid face marks and anorexic body avis are posted daily. no more creative avis. certainly no plus size or normal sized avis leaked. people love to pay $40 for the same avi over and over and over again and leak that same avi over and over and its so fucking boring. get some originality, some creativeness. posting the same base & head with slightly different clothes is so annoying. im tired of the wannabe jouffa avis.

This happens in all of the creative spaces. They will continue to exist as long as people keep paying. Things exist because they are consumed. The only clear fix is to learn and do it yourself. Relying on others will never make you happy.
@utopia I feel like ive had this conversation before. i cannot make my own because i am blind in one eye, prone to migraines, have arthritis and a learning curve because of unspecified amnesia that can affect my memory from any point. i would love to make my own, but its just not possible. if it was, id be doing my damn best to not have another copy paste avi.

@SillyGooberToob To be fair there was never a stage where all avatars were creative. I'd say back in the "good days" they still all looked the same. I'd say even more basic and repetitive than nowadays. But you do you.

I kind of agree with you on this, but there was never a point where people were super creative on this game. People instead used the same TDA assets they got off of deviantart to make their anime girls. I do get tired of seeing the same stuff over and over, but I know my preferences aren't the same as everyone else.

idk about yall but i used to find hella creative ones. strawbunny, the person who made baphy taphy, etc. but now everyones either making booth-ish avis or the avis are all copy paste with starlight head, and i get it- it works super good with FT but its SOOOO boring

@SillyGooberToob Strawbunny is THIS generation of VRChat. So yes, depending on the creator, a lot of avatars are unique. Just go find em. Not that hard.

Tbh I agree I get fed up looking for something new only to be greeted by the same gross ass egirl eboy shit its boring not at all sexy and just not appealing anymore and I do miss the days where ppl cared about creating new stuff instead of cranknig out crap with glitter on it for a quick dollar.

@pienchan legit. People just think that shit is actually good. Theyre not happy being told theyre wasting their money either. And no one can seem to comprehend why someone would want to be chubby in a game you can be anything.
