do not care about this avatar. just wanna point out that the creator would be an amazing employee for EA. their both greedy and have awful business practices.

theres another server thats planning to make an erp avatar for patreons only, its entirely custom made and not a copy of another avatar. that may be the only reason i can think of where thats acceptable for paying. as THEY made it will entirely their own assets.

@LittleKaiitlyn exactly lol. i'd only see it be reasonable to add a password to a private avatar. but theres no point of adding one if you plan to sell it unless you wanna be scummy like this "creator" you can actually head over to fiverr and pay someone 10 or 20 more to assemble the same avatar without any password or monthly payment. and the money goes to someone who deserves it.

@AceSkyes Yeah, I'll be honest, I don't even want the avatar, I sorta just clicked into this thread out of curiosity, and seeing that.. I think it's more of an issue for your friend. They got into a bad deal, being forced to pay a commercial license more than once, and they smashed two avatars together, made it public, and are asking people to pay for it. I don't blame people for wanting it for free.
I've uninstalled Unity Hub/Unity Editors and can no longer help :( I just can't justify the costs of spending time doing this anymore.

They got into a bad deal, being forced to pay a commercial license more than once, and they smashed two avatars together, made it public, and are asking people to pay for it. I don't blame people for wanting it for free.
Now, if Kissou had purchased both avatars and decided to sell them on their own page, I would fully understand that they'd have to pay some sort of licensing agreement to both Godfall and Studio Jingo
But because technically they have created this new, grey-area avatar, they should have never entered into an agreement that makes them pay more than once for their commercial license, especially not one that forces you to pay it indefinitely, as you seem to imply.
I've uninstalled Unity Hub/Unity Editors and can no longer help :( I just can't justify the costs of spending time doing this anymore.

Nope. What's gonna happen is the exact opposite. If anything it's just gonna motivate me even more to rip that shit and get the code because the issue is of kissou's own making, if he didn't want to have this issue, he shouldn't have basically been reselling two PAID avatars combined into an amalgamation of parts from each avatar.
And not to mention, it's just the code for an already-uploaded avatar, not even the files themselves. I'd understand a tiny bit more if they actually sold the files so people can edit it as they please, but that is not the case, and this is just as bad as the Payhip avatar "creators" that use that Gonso licensing shit.

@Samwich8157 its a rip of the avatar, the actual files arent given out. Meaning those rips have to be remade almost from scratch. Best you can do is keep praying or use somethinglike youtube on how to add those things yourself.
