everyone here does know using the latest is better than using the one the creator made the avatar with right?
pretty soon going to unfollow this post because the sheer people who ask for older versions, stop lagging vrchat with older version, there's a reason why the newer versions perform better than older ones. USE THE NEWER ONE. -

USE THE NEWER ONE.@FluffyBear627 right, and even then withn most western avatars, just using the poi toon vcc repo work as well. saves time on the project overall

@louisa.uno ive been ripping & recreating for about 2 years and i have yet to come across a case where i needed to import an old version of poi instead of latest release, one non-issue issue is the material being white in most places which can be fixed via shading settings [changing texture ramp to realistic, re-selecting transparent if transparency is broken, etc], the rest can most likely be fixed within the newest poi packages[fur, etc] but i am curious on which cases would need an older poi package

reword edit^@wfurry Yeah it only supports "upgrading" but there are specific versions where features where a little bit different or which are needed for ripping
