Fresh and New Forum Design

It surprised me a little haha. It looks very nice though a little confusing at first but I think now I've got the hang of navigating around. Nonetheless it's a really neat design big fan! Thank you for all your hard work updating the forum and improving it.

Joking aside, it'll take a bit of getting used to. I'm sure there are many improvements and i'll praise them once i get to check them out.
On that note, i've been thinking about this for quite some time, but can we get better emotes/emoticons/emoji's
because i dislike the sterile facebook/android ones. Back in the day i used to frequent a little known site called Vampirefreaks.com. It stills exist today but only as a store. But the forums on it had great emotes, and it would be amazing to get to use them again. If I find a collection of them and share it i hope you will consider it if possible.
Because using them help to understand someone tone and attitude and livens up the place and makes things a little bit more fun.edit: here they are

It seems to lack a dark mode, although I very well could have missed it.
edit I think I got it. There are some skins labeled as dark skins, but I only saw the label when I fullscreened the tab.

i found the system for seeing unread topic kinda all over the place, it was the same in the old layout.
when for exemple someone share the asset they found in a comment, you don't even know where the link is and have to go all the way up to maybe find it or search because of the people that say thank you.
i don't have a proper solution right now to propose but it's a thought i have.

@Finn I agree, the only way I know to do it is by going through every notification on every post and sorting through the ones who have left links. I watch several threads so I get around 300 notifications a day to sort through.

@Finn a short while before the change i realized you can put mega/pixeldrain/workupload etxh in the search bar and set the search by title and post and search but the last day to find the recent uploads, another options is to sort by votes, as a upvoted post is usually an asset share. kinda of a bit of a scummy grab and run move. However i found that i also still wanted to see what the newest unshared LF assets where and to bump old posts so i ended up continuing to look through 300+ post daily.

Also DeviantArt is a treasure trove for emotes. Might put together a collection of my favorites.

There is also an issue (happened in the previous design sometimes, but more frequently now) where posts on the site has a longer scroll bar than the site design, so it ends up scrolling into blank screen and scrolls the Left and Right sidebars up too.

Sorry for being offtopic but as i was mentioning emotes, rather than wait for one of the admins to implement it. i might make a chat group with a collection of them. and people could join. and to use them you just drag and drop them from the chat to your post. only issue is the new design doesn't seem to have a minimized chat window that hovers over threads, just the notif bar, so right now you have to drag from one tab to another which is a bit awkward. unless i missed the setting for that.
