@CyberSweetPie their not making a living like that. no one is going to buy it with how they made it. plus charging 40 bucks for a free blender model they converted into VRchat is just scummy by it's self.

its also done this way cause he technically isnt allowed to sell the avatar to begin with. these aren't his models their models made by trawert. he doesnt have the legal right to sell em.

i think stealing someones model and reselling it as your own for 40 bucks is slightly worse than just stealing an avatar you wanna use to play a game. -

i only find what that dude is doing scummy because he's re-selling it for 40 instead of something reasonable like 10 or 20 and "upload only" is just a scam. i can probably hire some dude on fiverr for cheaper and get it converted for VRC -
@Femboy The models that are resold for 40 are not the ones Trawert made. They are custom OC's and new characters the creator made. The ones trawert made are put on sale for like 10 bucks.

The packages can't be sent out as the TOS for trawerts models prohibit the redistribution of assets. What they are paying for is the time and effort spent making the models function and making new stuff for people. I would love to sell them as unitypackages but then I would literally just be stealing at that point. Trawerts page is also listed in the discord for people to go buy the assets directly themselves if they want to.

and there's 3 versions available on f95. is that allowed simply because it's free?
why follow his TOS anyways? there's multiple things on here for free that has a TOS that says you can't give it away.
unless that's only effective if you're trying to resell it?
