Guys, Is it worth buying avatars anymore? I spent a few cash on one before, and I just don't feel like it's worth it for that price, plus some of the avatars are copy and paste nowadays. I open it in Unity, and it looks like dog water. I believe it was one of AkiraVr models. I also bought Pumo's avatars; I just don't know anymore. What are your guys thoughts on this?

@rattum IMO most not all TDA creators don't put any soul into their avatars, and like all they are now are the same waist, same face, and with a generic name slapped onto it, they market for 45-60 bucks. Any avatar like that is not rememberable. Like name five TDA models from the top of your head, you know uhhh mike, max, zach, ash, eva like which mike which eva there are multiple avatars with that name that look exactly like them with different clothes. Like I too bought an avatar from gumroad, and it was so unfinished I felt like I was scammed. It didn't look like the preview photos either. Id say don't waste your money on those types of avatars and just outsource them from here or VRM. Booth, on the other hand, you know what you're getting; they all have different faces, different waists, original names, and are overall memorable, like they're worth the money, not Gumroad models. But again, its your money. Spend it the way you want, but to simply answer your question No, its not worth buying avatars anymore, especially TDA's. Again, take this as a grain of salt, and this was just my opinion, to each their own right. Anyway, I hope this helps.

      Happy hunting

        AkiraVr models

My man really bought simple eboy asset flips for 50 dollars and is shocked that its a basic asset flip
They literally type " I used shared assets " and list 30 people there.
Also imagine saying nowadays all avatars are copy paste... When it was like that since beginning for eboy/egitl avatars
