@HisMaimai Update to this (might just be on mobile): Site is fully down. It should lead to a Bad Gateway page, but still it's not recommended to get on it for the time being!

Quick reminder to everyone to not click any of the download links till further notice as you don't know what the links could've been replaced with. Even if the page seems fine to you, it's best not to click anything until it's deemed safe and cleared of any tampered downloads!

also, if anyone needs something from that site I made a backup before it poofed
as far as I can tell - most of the domains in the backup are trusted (workupload/pixeldrain/googledrive/mega) and aren't IP Grabbers

They just added phone verification to the discord. Is there anything you need phone verification to see, or is it just there to prevent spammers (& everyone else) from posting?

I checked to see if the website was back up today & had this notification.
I want to make sure I'm not on that fake website since it's worded a bit weird for me.

We have been made aware of a malicious website and fake social media accounts impersonating VRChive. The fraudulent website is designed to look similar to our official website, but it is being used to spread inappropriate and harmful content.

Notice for users here:
Site is back up as of Sept 5th, with a warning about a fake site and Twitter account, as that fake site is made by the spammer who spammed vrchive and the discord webhooks (yes there were 2 incidents). new users currently can’t register new accounts for the time being, but will be enabled at some point later. Security should better to help prevent an incident like this from happening again, uploading is also still disabled cause of a bug, but that should hopefully be resolved soon. Note there have been instances of some spam Reddit accounts we have found as well. And there’s probably more I haven’t found.
