Yes it does - without the license key you still can't get the model

There's no .fbx to play around with etc. So the download just gives you the materials, textures and anims, but you still can't do anything with it

that key has already been used by someone else (its one per person), you'd need someone who knows how to de-gonso and then give them the key to extract the contents. I just wish I could get the .fbx

Rip. We need a de-gonzo'er to use it.

Ideally. Someone would need to pre-emptively get in touch with a Gonzo remover, or prep to remove it himself.
Or avoid using the key altogether.

I tried reaching out to a few people to no avail sadly... I tried to give it a stab myself but It didn't go well
