Stupid question. Are vrcw files signed or hashed in anyway or can I just hexedit the thing and find the section pointing to the whitelist and change it before I re-up?
@deem newer vrcws use serverside udon code signing, so modifying udon code can make it fail verification. the vrcw itself is a built unity assetbundle, so it's serialized/compressed data rather than something where you'd find a plain list of user ids in a whitelist. if the whitelist is implemented in udon, it could be in the bytecode or serialized udon data.

aka it’d be more plausible to recreate the world locally on your computer but your vrc client would not be able to load it because it would never get past verification with modified udon code. do you actually have the .vrcw file? you’d have to dig through cache to reconstruct one. that might be what the vrcw launcher the people above are working with
