@Meowscles Ah sorry I didn't know that. I don't know much about blender or unity so I just figured it needed to be rigged. I'm not sure what FK means? Could you possibly explain a bit more?
Also I like your pfp its cute!@ZoonTheGoon Thank you! Like yours too, its cute as well! :]
Models from SFMLab, and Smutbase are usually rigged.
I can explain to you! I've been using blender for about a decade now.FK or Forward Kinematics, is a method of rigging that allows parental-based motion in bones. Meaning, if you rotated or moved one bone, it would move the child bones too. (the bones that the parent bone has under it) VRChat's rig, is like this.
IK or Inverse Kinematics though, is what this model uses. It is a method of rigging that allows you to move the end bone of a bone-chain, and it will calculate the right way for it to bend from the tip of the chain, all the way down to the last tail.

ive been taking a try at converting for a bit, how would you convert a ik to fk then? i figure its probably a simple answer but i feel like i need to ask anyway.

cool

@EmpororProtects You would remove the IK Constraints, and re-order the bones to match VRChat's rig hierarchy- while naming them the same as the hierarchy. Weight groups are not touched, only the rig and it's bones.

Thank you so much this is very helpful and really interesting to learn about. Will see about giving this a shot sometime and see what I can do. Thank you for your help again!

@ZoonTheGoon Of course.
Message if you need anything. -
I assume you mean rigging for VRChat? This model has a rig already.
These rigs can be easily reversed to FK and reparented for VRChat.@Meowscles then do it
