Bloodmutt really did go "I'M BEING USED FOR AVATARS" and back peddle so hard to nuke everything to where he's now made a personal server with him and just his personal friends, sharing new models to his friends only.
Now, don't get me wrong. I can understand his point of view. Hell, I'd wouldn't mind gettin' to know the guy myself rather than seeing him for avatars. BUT, There's a fine line between this. Offering ports for free in ripperstore forums where, yes, you'll be seen as a person offering free avatar edits. But, on other hand, He probably felt underappreciated for his work or maybe, we, as collective whole, just didn't thank/appreciate him enough.
Me personally, I was always appreciative for his work, but I don't think he ever read my dms or something. It's kinda like, when a person becomes so knowledgable about porting avatars and all, they kinda have their own little league of their own that just ignores little fishes like us. I dunno, thats just my experience whenever I try to interact with content creators.

I met Bloodmutt once in a group instance, they instantly made fun of my colorblindess when they noticed I had a bit of a hard time with the colors in the world lmao.
