I'm making this post to let you know that I plan to delete all the sharing links I've posted, more than 95% of the time, I don't even get a "thank you," and it really annoys me

The worst part is, I'm not even asking for an upvote, I don't really care about that. But for me, politeness is the bare minimum I ask for

You have to understand that I pay for this every month, not just for the sharing I do, but also because it’s where I store my avatars, since they took up too much space on my computer. I’m using up storage space for files that are sometimes very large

I’m truly sorry to the few people who thanked me, but at a certain point, I just can't do it anymore, and I hope you understand

In a worst-case scenario, I could make an exception and send it to you via private message with a temporary link, but that’s all

@L.A.cutie uh ngl i feel like the point of donating to the community is not expecting thanks i respect you choice but your placement in a sense of entitlement to people's thanks to the community understand how convoluded that sounds as much as i understand. if its a gift or even giving to expect praise then priase is not what you deserve if that is your integrity to the reason why you share YOU made the choice to spend YOUR money

The thing is, it wasn't just about the items I’d bought, out of kindness, I also took it upon myself to do the research and handle other tasks on their behalf
So, yes, you’ll probably tell me again that it was MY CHOICE, but I still feel that saying "thank you" is the least they could do

idk i tought an updvote was a way of saying thanks or adding emotes i myself dont like spending time to write thanks alot of times. my adhd brain soemtimes just wants to upvote drop an emote or whatever and move on. but i never expect much from a piracy comunity i upload soemthing after buying it and move on. if they thank me or not -shrugs- dosent matter its 2026. and people are less frequent to be nice caring or go out of their way to say more than they have too. our brains are tired from alot of things we just wanna egt to the point you know? i had breakdowns and stuff. that dosent mean am gona delete what i have shared why punish others who had nothig to do with others behaviour. just relax take a break dont expect anything from sites like this. we here to Grab items or share items and move on. not arguing here or fighting. this is your chocie agfter all and your wellbeing. you do what you feel is right for you.

I know you don't mean any harm by what you're saying, but as someone who is autistic, has ADHD, and is bipolar, I’ve reached a point where I’m fed up with this lack of basic courtesy. I realize it’s never going to change, but between the people around me who ask for things without ever saying thank you, and certain people here doing the same, it’s all become too much, I’ve hit my limit and there’s no turning back. Subconsciously, what you write affects and hurts me because I feel like I’m being forced, yet again, to be like everyone else, "people don't say thank you anymore, so I just have to get used to it", but my way of thinking simply doesn't grasp that kind of behavior. I’m sorry to go on about my struggles, but at this point, I don't know what to say or think anymore, I’m constantly criticized for my choices, even though I’m just trying to survive in a world that makes me sicker by the day

I can see where you're coming from. I've also noticed a huge amount of toxic entitlement on here(and everywhere else in the world tbh. You help someone and it goes nowhere lol). Kinda expected since this site has become a free or nothing platform. I used to gift and help out around this site as well and honestly it doesn't change the way people will treat you(Obviously, but still annoying of course and makes you rethink who it is you're helping). Scum will remain scum and those who have the ability to be aware of their own actions will treat people with basic respect. That's just how it is and because thats never gonna change, I've also stopped gifting since a while back and now only rarely help out in places I know I can. I've learned that its better to keep to yourself on this platform. Less room for drama and other tiring shit like that. Overall, I get where you're coming from, but venting isn't gonna change it. My advice, quietly slip away. People on here do not care about anything but getting what they want, you know? Anyways, good luck to you.
