yeah i got banned and blacklisted by some person named beartrap? i bought one of her avi from her website. But they some how found my ripper account. my discord and ripper acc aren't the same name? she dm me saying she was gonna take LEGAL action against me cause i shared a avatar work upload link i found to another person. reminder this wasn't even one OF HER AVATARS. it was just some furry base model. she told me she was gonna IP ban me from her store/discord and tell other creators to do the same. which kinda unfair. i didnt even do anything. im pretty sure she uses GonsoLicense too...

I believe people that were reversing Gonso came to the conclusion it's effectively malware that steals browser data, so no wonder they were able to link your accounts together in that case.Would appreciate if someone could send a link to an older Gonso project so I could reverse it myself to confirm, but basically that's what I was told by numerous people in the Rae thread & on Twitter.

Funny because in that case Gonso violates the updated Jinxxy ToS and a lot of avatar creators can get in trouble lol -
@uwuowoawa I can't find where ibdi uses the gonso spyware but I did find the other one and will add it.

then again, vrchat store exists, just use that instead of using legally gray software people that seems borderline extremely illegal, if not extremely illegal due to it monitoring internet activity.

@blackviperxvi They wont use the in game store because they don't know how to optimize their models lmao. You know how some of the best creators who take time with making higher quality moved almost instantly over, and the rest stayed.
The only excuse they had was it was hard to get in, but now almost anyone can upload to the store if they take time to fit the requirements.

I actually really like the vrchat store because I can try out the avatar and buy it directly. I still prefer to have unity packages because I can personalize them, but sometimes I just really like the avatar as is.
They don't want to optimize because it takes work and they want 50$ with the lowest possible effort, so of course they don't. Use other peoples work, slap together an avatar in a day or 2 at most, whine about leaking, ez profit.

Jinxxy made a statement recently about DRMS /licensing "tools" (I'm guessing they mean gonso licenser) so, it's getting some attention at least. unfortunately they support DRMs "we don't view these tools as malicious"

@blackviperxvi The creator of jinxxy is a pred (Not to minors) to other adults, and they also all openly accept AI on their platform. I don't think they would ever care about gonso or other scripts like it sadly.

there is a toggle to stop showing ai content but you have to turn it on everytime you go on the website, i wish it was by default off

Not to mention people who buy avatars with Gonso says they can't even upload the avatar and are forced to go to the creators to ask help just for them to shut them down and say they have to pay a 15$ upload fee... like what? Now this isn't all cases but this is what I heard
