hand warmers and bunny suit done idk why the lighting is doing that so im hoping that issue just ceases at some point (leg tufts are still there, just toggled off in this image)also if anyone has any idea on what sort of techniques of blender that I dont know yet that will help me with the hair PLEASE tell me, this one task is quite foreboding...

does anyone have an idea of how to replicate this visual as an actual 3d model (red and orange wont be the real colors they are just there for colors sake) im not too great at blender and the hair is very daunting -

also i would like to note im not looking for super realistic hair as it wouldnt really match the avatar style so im searching for cartoony kinda looking hair

i got hair that i like, but does anyone know why these objects dont appear under the armature even though they are parented to it?@flowerwoman I dont think those are parented into the armature with the base

got the parenting to work, the objects weren't in the right scene
NEW PROBLEM, i dont know how to uv unwrap, been putting seams where i think they should make sense but its still saying it cannot resolve the islands
(image contains body only all the other objects are hidden)

ok i unwrapped it but it wont let me paint on these verticies specifically, and i checked the inside of the model too its not like they are inverted -
ok ignore my previous questions i figured it out hopefully and my fixes wont bite my ass in the future
everything is slowly coming together (pink is untextured)

for some reason the hand warmers and bunny suit cannot be painted, and show this weird pattern.
If it helps solve, both of these objects were made by selecting vertices from the body and turning them into unique objects, and the faces that werent copy pasted were able to be painted -
sorry for the big wait, there are some touchups i would like to do before finally releasing this
- the weight painting on the crotch is horrible, as inexperienced as i am at blender, i have no idea how to fix this (photo below for visual of my qualms)
- the main sweater has some weight painting issues around the chest, will fix that sometime since its low priority right now
- her face is very expressionless, i dont know how to set up blinking or eyelids, ect, or how to make the mouth more than a colored indent right now
if you have solutions to these issues, i would enjoy your assistance!
other than those 3 issues (so far) progress good! (i got a build of her in unity and vrchat working as well which is how i found out about some of these issues, so its actually very close to completion)
