@silly_kitty The people downvoting you are dumb as hell, people are allowed to make custom private edits for avatars. People that hate when people make their own edits for themselves and don't like sharing them with others cause it's THEIR oc, go fuck yourself. I get this is Ripperstore, but we don't need absolutely EVERY SINGLE edit to be made public. Let the people enjoy the work that THEY do for THEMSELVES
@EmpressMango i dont think anyone is saying they have a problem with people making custom personal edits that arent gonna be shared people just have a problem with them saying "oh you should gatekeep this! this is peak dont share it" if they wanna share it its their choice whether to do so or not you dont get to budge in and say "its peak gatekeep it" if they didnt say that nobody would care and move on and leave it up to them whether they want to share it or not they also said they might wanna share the textures as if they were already thinking about what to do with them

@esp That is valid and completely fair, but I still don't think that people should be getting hurt by other people not wanting to share it. I get getting mad at the people that are saying to gatekeep it, that's understandable, but at the end of the day, it's all just a matter of the creator's decision if they want to share their edits or not, regardless of what other people say and/or what happens. And no matter what the creator chooses, I feel like we should all respect that and not get hurt by it, we don't need absolutely every single Avi retexture in the world, it's alright if we're unable to get a few here and there. But all in all, don't attack anyone just for an avi/retexture, it's just not the right thing to do, (I'm not saying that YOU are esp I'm just saying that in general, this is not directed towards you in any way, this is just a general statement) I just ask that we all treat everyone here kindly and make everyone feel welcome, if we do encounter asshats then tear into them sure. But please do not go attacking anyone just because they decide to keep something that they worked on for themselves, it's just wrong and a dick thing to do. Just remember to be understanding and kind when it comes to these things and have an amazing day/night!!!
