the link you mentions is version 1.1
@cheesehampter may be the first one posting it, but it does not look to me that @kiyra_56 "reuploaded" from @cheesehampter to farm upvotes or anythingdownvoting @kiyra_56 for posting an updated version of said asset while assuming he stole it is pretty ass, if you ask me.

because because of @粉雪, @kiyra_56 got his account downvoted to -3 and his account got flagged.
we talking about a live2d model that cost over 100$ & @kiyra_56 just joined 1 day ago to the forum and want to share what he bought to the community.and the first reaction he gets for contributing to the community is being downvoted, having his account flagged, and being indirectly accused of reuploading someone else’s gift.
I downloaded both files, and it took me less than 30 seconds to see that they were not the same.

Alrighty, to handle this mess I am sorry to say that the original gifter was Hampter but to go more indepth, yes they do indeed have version 1.2 as I did some digging to see as each are from different sources. And Hampter has version 1.1 whereas they have version 1.2. As it just has slight adjustments here and there for the file since it was just a recent update for that model as they creator wanted to fix some small minor details. As those fixes were the eye mask covers, colors added to both the eye mask covers and glasses, and the clothes were made to fit better as well as having some being removable/separate.

Yes, It does matter when someone "steals" links for upvotes because within the community as much as everyone wants rep and upvotes we as a community don't like it when someone takes credit for someone else's work such as donos for models. There is some decorum and standards within this community as this is one of them since this was and is a pricy model. Since this heavily can deter those members from ever sending dono's again. As I said before within my previous post, I am sorry for causing any discomfort or distress you may have felt @kiyra_56.

@Wenhe-Wang was a mistake made by the user, everything happens in here, if they mentioned it was bcs there was probably a reason behind it.
everyone makes mistakes and learn from them so pls lets not attack anybody and go on with your day (this includes texts in the future about this issue)@kiyra_56 welcome to the community, these things happen all the time dw

and thats the the big problem i have with this system (up/down vote & reputation points) and forum in general. its hard to get into ripperstore and such things would probably get some people wrongly banned.

there is no 100% way of knowing if someone bought it without having it also post of receipt each time someone post something.
and by default asuming that anyone that post a link to that asset i just a stealer that wasn't the first one posting it is just dumb. and it looks like its normal behavior here not just you. -
searching for something is hard for example searching for "Xiyin Asuka" would not bring up your post you linked to the first gifter. having to link to a post to multiple threads because others can't find it anymore.
even with the booth extention for a asset on booth.pm i get like 8-12 hits for threads where i can maybe find that asset and have to go through alot of comment to maybe find a download link and also pray that its not dead. -
a forum is just not a good place to have soo many assets posted and at the same time properly organize and search-able. it's impossible.
there is a website that handle it pretty good (not naming it) where there its just 1 Entry for that asset for that shop url, and a download section that list all users uploads. (this website is only for vrchat)
having a proper website for ripperstore that would handle live2d & vrchat properly and we would not have these issues.
and my main point issue here was: this falsely accusation could getting him banned in a forum thats is hard to get into.
but i'm happy to see it resolve now. no more wall of text here from me. no more drama. -
