30$ for a retexture and it doesn’t even have a peen texture
I don’t even use the peens on Cryptias models or any model and even I think that’s ridiculous@bennyworm i think paying more than like five bucks for a retexture is a scam, ESPECIALLY thirty bucks

For real, people price them WAY too high, like 30 bucks for avi sure (Even though i would never pay a single CENT for any type of vrc content i mean thats why iam here lol)
but for most of the time RECOLOR not even new texture is insanity and thinking thats okay is mental, i could go into MS paint and do much better job than most of these "creators" FOR FREEI mean simple recolors can be nice but its not okay to charge for them imo, its lazy uninspiring and most of the times just mumbo jumbo of colors that doesnt even look good.
Creators should take notes from people in this thread I have seen bunch of people on ripperstore do amazing recolors or straight up NEW textures and they dont want anything for them just credit. Thats how it should be you know who you are guys YOU ROCK!!
Sorry for the rant also lol, i dont really write on ripper much i like to say a lot of stuff at once than message in small doses

@spongealt Art commissions are personal. Unless it be a commissioned Texture, i doubt anyone would think this is a reasonable price, much less if it doesn’t have textures for the entire thing (from what I’m seeing it’s the peen)

@spongealt Because most people aren’t commissioning Textures, and if they are for just a basic recolor it shouldn’t be THIRTY BUCKS, as a basic recolor takes like 5 minutes to do (at least for me), and MOST of the plain out recolors don’t even look good. But at the least it should be like 10-15 bucks imo is a good range for a good quality texture. Anything above that seems like a lot

Right, and I don’t even think UndeadAri has a sale yet. And I think like only 3 people bought the Roxy texture because of how it expensive it is. I hate how texture creature just seem to REFUSE to make peen textures, if I’m paying 30$ for a texture it should at least have that

@CryptidSaint I understand a personal not having a peen texture, that’s fair, because that person may not be using the peen, I sure ass hell don’t because I don’t have a peen irl so I don’t see the appeal but I do see why people would want it
But you can’t openly sell a 30$ texture and not add a texture that’s in the base model, that’s honestly crazy fucking work, it should be like 5$ less for that, so like 25$ instead of 30$ but even 25$ is pushing it.
“Oh but just make it yourself” no. I’m paying you 30$ to do that.

@bennyworm yup yup! for most modern avatars go for 60-70+ dollars for a 30$ texture better be giving me every texture it included originally
