Apparently, the problem is that a VTuber received it, and both the VTuber agency and the VTuber herself have applied a copyright claim to it—even on VRChat (your account could be banned if someone reports you or if a VRChat staff member notices it’s the same model)
The good news is that the copyright will expire on June 15, 2026, because the VTuber has temporarily left the VTuber group.
And now she’s using a modified version of the Roxy model from Foxipaws.

@esau_winchester I've used this avi out in the open quite a few times and no one really cared or batted an eye, stupid reason to get banned anyways.

@imaloser1201 I also understand that the VTuber has a version of the avatar with clothes and extra features, so that's really why I doubt it will affect us.
But now that it uses a different model, the risk is minimal

@esau_winchester I mean yeah i understand that i'd still use some precaution, but i doubt you would get a ban over something tiny like this.
