@Rat-z If you've imported the assets into Unity, then your computer must be infected. Disconnect your computer from all networks, especially wired connections; remove any mobile phones or USB storage devices connected to your computer; change all your passwords using another device; and format your computer with a completely clean new installation of Windows.

using AI to write your post. you clearly do not understand what you're trying to say. you can go to the official github repo of HDiffPatch and compare the files. there has been no altercation. it is not a virus.

@picturesque was talking about OP using AI.

@5687476 they used virustotal as their proof of virus which provides file checksum. its a normal scan

@gwinaniai Yes, I use artificial intelligence; I translate my messages from my native language using DeepL.

@gwinaniai No, I didn’t use VirusTotal as proof; I just included a link to the VirusTotal scan. I only used the community tool to get an hypothesis of what it does before finding out much later, and I mentioned that in my post.

I used the UnityPackages scan tool, the Triage tool, and Microsoft’s SysInternals strings, and later shared the file with an analyst who reached the same conclusion as @picturesque. I spent my afternoon working on this file, so even though it turned out to be a false positive, I hope you understand my perspective.

@gwinaniai You have to remember that this tool is still under construction; we are still collecting all kinds of data to minimize the number of false positives.
