@k1tty Then if it’s easy, could you share the material used on the body? The avatar itself isn’t really the issue (it’s almost a stock Kumaly edit) — the real problem is the skin and its settings. I know it uses Contact Shadows and SSAO from Poiyomi, but what about the rest of settings? I don't care really about avatar itself.
Poiyomi is an ultra-advanced shader where you can even send an effect from one module into a global mask and then read it back in another module. For example, you can feed cast shadows into the rim light, etc. So yeah… good luck setting all that up.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but every creator who makes a really nice material never shares it for anything. You won’t find stuff like that on Booth either. Post-processing does a lot, but this avatar looks insane in every lighting condition, even without PP (This one just doesn't use PCSS like most of do).

@TD It’s not LilToon!!!! I said that earlier. It’s Poiyomi Pro 10 with SSAO and Contact Shadows
I even know where the matcap comes from and I found probably the original texture, but this creator is doing most of the shader settings by hand.
And you’re wrong, because what you sent isn’t even close to what’s actually being used there — I know that material asset. -
@TD So you probably don’t know what’s going on in the VRChat scene right now. Poiyomi recently released Poi 10 with so many cool features that people are switching from LilToon to Poiyomi. Redrevi too. I can see effects in their work that simply don’t exist in LilToon, even in paid addons. Also, they’re using Kumaly now not Milltina that’s an old screenshot.

@TD Honestly, even just a recording of a stream where he shows his shader settings would be enough for me, unfortunately my account on Chzzk got suspended right after I created it and most of transmisons are 19+…. But I think he doesn’t really show how he works in Unity anymore like he used to. There’s nothing about his work on Discord either. I will be glad for info where he stream now.
Anyway, even if I somehow got my hands on a few-hour stream of him setting up the shader, I definitely wouldn’t complain. Like I said before, I don’t really care about the avatar itself. Im looking just for this cool Poiyomi settings.

The screenshot I sent came from the March 22nd stream. I don't use Chzzk because I am literally cock blocked by that same r19 lemme see your drivers license rule, and majority of their streams aren't accessible that way. Instead I use Streamrecorder.io to view them and like 99 other VRC streamers at a time.
Never say never, they were pretty frequent with the livestreams on making avatars, I think it's just Kumaly is hot stuff + a lack of outfits for her that makes REDREVI focus on VRC streams instead of hosting Unity ones.

I’m not going to ask the creator about their settings because I know they’ll ignore me. Honestly it would be enough to just join their instance with a client but it’s hard to find and join someone like that on VRC. -

@TD told you! I can see it from the effects it has.
I’ve been working with shaders for VRC for a very long time and it would be hard to trick me or make me believe something.
And now getting back to the topic as I mentioned before.
Poiyomi is a very advanced shader and LilToon has no chance against it at best it can lick its feet when it comes to the number of features and possibilities. Thats why we still looking for VRCA. -
