MOE profiles are free. If you want to dress MOE from other avatars, please use the profile from this shop. Edit: The Moe2Beryl profile isn't actually included in any mochifitter release. Instead you need this particular beta release which was included with beryl purchases:

Yes. You need to do Moe->Beryl first. Then do Beryl->your avatar. There's no Moe->Template, so you need to convert the outfit to beryl first. Someone really does need to share the Moe->Template profile because it's a bit tedious to do two conversions, and also a bit jank imo.
