@bebooster i dont have a fomo, i still play the game and still enjoy it. idk why you keep saying i have a fomo like you can read my mind
i was just simply saying if the LIMITED TIME events are short and not long enough for players with limited time to grind its kinda sucks for casual players. thats literally all. thats not my fomo thats just a thing ive noticed with similar games ive played. also even if its just skins some people (like me) like collecting everything in games. 100% games has always been a things people like doing. so thats why some people would want those skins even if they might never use them.@DeepAbyss Sorry to tell you this, but caring about missing out on limited time events or limited time skins IS by definition "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO). I can not fully 100% a game and I would be completely content with my experience.
I can lose out on anything limited time and I would not care, cheap marketing tactics don't work on me and I wish they worked on less people as well.

@DeepAbyss Sorry to tell you this, but caring about missing out on limited time events or limited time skins IS by definition "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO). I can not fully 100% a game and I would be completely content with my experience.
I can lose out on anything limited time and I would not care, cheap marketing tactics don't work on me and I wish they worked on less people as well.
@bebooster what part of IF I HAD a fomo it would be from the st. patricks day event not that i DO HAVE. like i dont know how to spell it out to you that i dont care, ive SEEN people say that and i thought it was a valid opinion and agree with them. i dont even speak english as a first language and apparently i know how to read english better than you. please learn to understand what im referring to and talking about before assuming and trying to "erm actually" me

he accused me of something im not, i explained what i meant to him 3 times in 3 different ways i could possibly think of and still kept accusing me of the same stuff so i got tired of it. in case someone is confused thats the tdlr. -

I think we have had a misunderstanding. I've never criticized your english speaking ability, and I believe that you do know what FOMO is and also can attest to what you've seen. But from your personal accounts and opinions of the event it does seem more like you do have FOMO as losing out on event items seems to be somewhat important to you. As for the people downvoting you I can't really control that and I didn't ask anyone to target you. I hope we can reach an understanding where you do not feel targeted, but can also understand how an observation on your comments on missing out is a core part of FOMO.

I don't know of an avatar in particular that can "give off the effect" but I can make you a prefab that you can drag and drop onto any avatar that will mask out all parts of the world except the UI (the visual part needed for the script)

And the best way to support anti-fomo is to not play the game that support it, not mention it and let it die.Sadly, fomo attract crowd, which is why game like no man sky still do that fucking awful twitch drop fomo

@Lucian see but no mans sky twitch drops you can just add in via a save editor sooo thats not that bad of a thing. and the twitch drops really arent that good either. No mans sky is still better about how they go about things than 90% of game companies currently.
