@hells_hollow idk how to do all the steps but if you use an application like assetripper, you can decompile it!! theres a couple good tutorials floating around this site to help you get it into unity and working!! though all youve gotta do pretty much is delete everytthing but the assets folder, and also a couple other files until it looks around like this

after just drag the assets folder or main folder into unity and you can reconstruct the avatar from scratch (easier to use vrcfury), i know theres ways to restore menus but im not sure how to ;; but it gives you the fbx to hopefully do whatever with so i hope this could be of use to you!! :3

p.s. you have to restore all of the scripts like avatar descriptors and physbones for it to work properly!! though blendshapes and other stuff needed for toggles will be there unless complicated
