You can actually still can use FT.
I noticed that the package included FT files and after checking the model also has the blendshapes for it. add the FT prefab on the avi. i tested it out for quest pro i added the UE tongue steps prefab. (Make sure to adjust the name in the prefab advanced options and debug to the same name of where the blendshapes are on) -
