Clothing For the FNC Gal's
-
I have a quick tutorial for how to do it yourself !! You have to go into blender, select all of the clothes on the SFW model by pressing L on your keyboard, then you press p to seperate it out from the body mesh, you can then delete the body mesh and keep the clothing model
@CorpseGutz it actually works thats pretty cool, didnt know it was that easy but i got a question, when you import it to the fnia avi how do you set it up? i think i sorta got it by renaming all the amatru but the clothes still look a little buggy and twisted, not sure if theres a step i gotta do that im missing

@CorpseGutz Apologizes but- I'm still a little confused, I've done some testing and it seems most apart from frenni, wont work since the clothes are a-part of the main mesh.
could i get a screenshot or more on what to do? im sure i could figure it out if told or shown!

@LilyLovelys depends on how ur setting it up in unity, I think you'll need to use the avatar.fbx versions (you can find them in unity) rather than the ones that come with the rar file. the avatar.fbx and the regular have differently named armatures and that might be the issue !!

@sonicsays1234 oh! when you press L on a part of the mesh you'll see a thing pop up at the bottom left of your screen that says "select linked" or smth like that, you just gotta click that and change the selection mode to UV, you gotta use this method for frenni's feet and a few other parts to get rid of them to use the clothes as is.

@CorpseGutz alright yea thats what i was doing wrong, i see it now, but now im having an issue where the clothing is transparent, i tried to add the material but it seems to make the clothing all black and see through

@LilyLovelys you just grabbed the model's outline, you need to grab both of the meshes instead of just the outline. the model's outline is basically the base mesh duplicated, flipped so that the mesh is facing inside. just put on transparent mode (top right of the screen, next to the material preview modes)

@CorpseGutz alright now I’m just lost again, ok so I’m trying to do bonfie rn, I did what I was told and grab the .fbx from the unity file and imported to blender and do all the first step, was there something I needed to add it there too or was it just the .fbx to blender?

@LilyLovelys okay so, import the avatar.blend or avatar.blend (either or is fine), then you go into edit mode and select the clothing mesh & it's outline as well by pressing L on it. For selecting more difficult parts (the socks and sleeves) press L on the mesh, then go to the bottom left corner of the screen to change what your selecting based off of, then change it to UV, then select the sleeves and socks. once you got all you need, press P on your keyboard and seperate it by selection !! then you can delete the body mesh. However, I do advise you import the nsfw avatar of the fnc lady you want to attach the clothes to, merge the clothing amature to the nsfw armature of the lady (you can do this easily with CATs, the settings I use for the merge are: merge all bones, apply transforms, delete 0 weight bones and not have anything else selected), then go to the nude body, add a key/blendshape(or a couple for the different items of clothing) and shrink problem areas to prevent clippings using those blend/keyshapes (these problem areas are where each bone meets, so think elbows, knees, ankles, ect) . you can shrink them via sculpt mode or via edit mode using proportional editing (you can access this by pressing o on your keyboard, then you can use your mouse wheel to change the area of influnce). For porting them to unity, I can't help you there as I use VRCFury to set up toggles and Pumpkinn's tools for other stuff as I hate unity.
