People will share and i firmly dont believe in "oh its been unshared". I really do believe that files should be just freely allowed to be shared, streaming with it is the can of worms that's obviously not okay or recommended.
See it as those old demo CD's. I can play them offline on my own computer and things, but if i want the fancy online edition without risking getting banned, i have to pay.
But if i want to for my own offline usage and just enjoyment take files someone is offering, that should be okay.
Heck you might even get people to not use forum files if you offer demo versions of your models? People don't risk their money. Not in this economy. Nevermind the fact that those "digital item no refunds" policies are not valid in most EU countries anyway.

@EllieBunnie This, I agree with this. I know a lot of these models have a video showing off the model and customizations but a demo version wouldnt hurt for people wondering if the model is the right fit. Kinda like how games have demos where its only the first chapter of the story to see if you want to play more.
They could lock some features behind the paywall like the clothing and just have the basic features -

Listen to some good advice; offer people a limited features demo model like some booth sellers so people can see what they're possibly getting, rig quality and all, and not worry about risking their money and whether or not they felt like they wasted it
