@Linze for method 1, you need the SSL thing, which only can be decrypt on wireshark, but vrchat has detection and debug off for those, the only way to get it by MITM or something, based of my old research, the log i have in the archive contain the said SSL and handshakes, but we need the decrypt key that can be obtain through SSLKEYLOG, again the key does not generate on games, only browser with debug on by default, as for MITM i have not tested it when i decide to stop my research, due to lack of device and tech
Note, vrchat on the wireshark will constantly spam something around 0.5 millisecond at the same time, so getting it would be thoroughly hard or impossible

Sooo, last time I ripped an Avatar was in August 2024.
Currently we're almost in 2026, still no actual feasible way to decrypt? I have some interesting things on cache with that _data format that I would like to extract. Please!

i think i have went into every ripping method that was easily feasible on my own from cashe ripping, SARS, ARC, and even reading this whole thread in the pursuit to get the files to one vrc avi, and the question i have from all of this is, is ripping dead now?

@VoidAura well um to rebuild something you need to extract it with arc so idk what you are asking.
i mean you can use asset ripper to extract but the ui is a bit finnicky
and as for not using any discord servers, you can use abyss client but i dont see why you would spend $150 on something that can get you hardware banned to do the exact same thing a discord server can do for free

@agent287 I tried joining one of the things you mentioned, but I got banned because I had a default profile picture (despite the fact my account is 3 years old), and I tried joining on my main account but I guessed I got IP banned. Its so funny how little actual proof, reciepts or videos there are of ANY of these supposed breakthroughs that people keep grifting off links to. This is just so desperate to offsite and scam people.
Until one of these braggers actually posts proof of their 'method' being possible, please dont fall for this scam of attempting to get you to join a discord then pay for a rip. The only proof ive seen so far is someone requesting a VRCA of an already publicly available rip from a SARS VRCA repository.
