GIFT: Lizmeta 1.01

Thank you! And honestly with the mess the artist did I don't even care who's streaming with the legal purchase or not lmao.
@Asatruna tbh i wouldn't even be afraid of getting cancelled, but if i stream with a ripped model there's a non-zero chance of being harassed by the creator (depending on who it is, i guess) and I just don't want to deal with that. so all my rips i just use as little dress-up dolls and only stream w actually free models. i don't judge anyone who doesn't though.

@rippykaiye streaming with a pirated model is always risky. Most ppl use the downloads here to try it first if the rigging is godawful or just doesn't suit their style.
Lizmeta is just having a powertrip for no reason and one of their jobless hobbits actually sent me death threats. So yeah their community is pathetic. Not even Suiika was this bad.

@EllieBunnie
That's terrible to hear... I genuinely don't understand how people can have the audacity to just gatekeep-- let alone send death threats when you're just helping out with good intentions. I understand it's not a free world out there, but they should understand that not everyone lives in luxury and have the income to buy these customizables which most range from $150 and less.
Like I'm not gonna lie to myself here but I skipped on LizMeta's for HAKUSN's and was completely disappointed with the release. Sadly can't request refunds on shop items but aiya... just terrible... but gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully they fix with next update.
Don't know what is happening but stay safe Ellie and others who are using this model!
To be honest, if I ever-- hypothetically made a customizable and it was shared around like this with positive reviews/etc., I'd take it as a win-win situation or compliment lmao.
-
Thanks, at least there are people here who understand that this is a piracy forum lmao
-
Thank you for making the new version available. I found this version wonderful and will probably buy it in the future.
-
It's just people not understanding that a majority of the time, people who pirate never intended on paying for it in the first place. As in if it wasn't posted here, you all weren't going to just go buy it. Majority of us are here because we:
A. Can't afford it
B. Wouldn't be able to justify it
C. Want to try before buyingAnd more often that you'd think.. people that do pirate something, end up buying it if they like it that much as well. A lot of the time, people just simply want a demo.

I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for the creators of Lizmeta. I don’t personally believe they intended to encourage their community to witch-hunt people who share files. From what I can tell, there’s a clear language barrier — they’re Chinese and rely on translators, and don’t seem very familiar with how Discord works. Because of that, they likely chose what felt like the simplest solution: opening a forum to inform users about illegal sellers.
Unfortunately, things escalated once the community took matters into their own hands, especially after a ripper was posted in that forum. At that point, it started to become genuinely concerning. It does seem like the forum has finally been taken down, though.
I’m only bringing this up because I feel people are being overly judgmental toward the creators, when much of the situation spiraled due to community behavior rather than direct intent from them. Things just got out of hand.
That said, I do agree that this forum is often used to test models. I didn’t do that with the Haku one, and honestly, I really regret it.

@Melonpop genuinely get out of my thread. These people sent me disgusting vile death threats and one some really gory descriptions of me slitting myself.
Yes I know it's not their entire community but it's certainly atp a huge part of it. And I will not sympathise.
I have a friend with a language barrier and they've never sent people to witch hunt instead of just, messaging and asking and telling to stop.

@Melonpop I can give a slight pass for the creators because they do speak up when necessary, but the community being fostered leaves me with none. I joined the discord and saw it's mostly the people being vile, not the creators. The chinese have discord and their own version of it, so yes that isn't a bad thing to do but they don't understand en vtubers penchant to want to witch hunt, dox, send death threats and destroy people while making their designers/artists/(lizmeta in this context) look bad. Their sales haven't suffered or taken a hit, if anything it helps it like it also helped Suiika's sales in time.

@EllieBunnie Yeah i'm aware they did and i don't condone it in any way. Everything was handles horribly i don't deny that. I'm sorry you went through that.
All i'm saying is they didn't send anyone out to witch hunt. The community did that themselves. I do put the blame of not stopping it earlier on the creators however.
Not here to argue, just a thought so i'll leave you alone

@Zinoha2 That i agree with. They should have stopped before the community riled themselves up and started. I might just be naive but i just assume it wasn't originally the creators intention for this to happend

I wasn't aware they had a chinese version so scrap that pff.
