The lizmeta community really did a disservice by breaking containment and promoting this site in their discord. ALL of their users now know where to look for models and A FLOOD of new accounts coincided with their release. I feel bad for artists with planned future releases of customizable models. Thank yami and lizmeta for quite literally pulling the ladder up behind themselves, really lacking in foresight. The other creators were aware of this problem but professional and knew that putting it out there would only harm future sales for everybody.
In before all of the lizmeta siblings on twitter suddenly showcasing the whole catalog of customizable models available that they definitely "bought". Hypocrites.

There is no "winning" against piracy. You can only temporarily slow it. Streaming sites may get taken down all the time, but that just causes more to pop up. It's a never ending battle and always has been.

it seems that most people are unwilling to show a shred of understanding or sympathy for the threat that the OG poster is under because almost everyone is becoming more entitled to updates, so now i'm writing this long nagging post. not sure if everyone is capable of reading long texts without their eyes glazing over, so i've blocked them out for easier navigation.
1. explanation for why no one is posting
and yes i have the update.
i've sent a link out to some people already, but i am keeping a list of every account i am DMing because i'm watching the official discord server to see if my workupload links are reported, and from who. this is because there's a legitimate reason the OG poster took it down (and why i took my own post down from a few days ago):
there is only 1 post in the server's channel for reporting illegal distribution, and it is titled "Forum of Thieves," with a link straight to this site and all of the biggest 'LF Lizmeta' threads.
this channel, by the way, is the second thing everyone sees when they join or chat in the server. it is literally placed higher than the updates/announcement category for everyone there if they want to hunt down leakers and whoever's replying to posts/bumping for updates.
2. why i'm not sharing it publicly
and why others might not in the future, either

this model's community is actually scary and so are the artists. they literally require you to DM them your list of platforms and social media accounts if you use it. they will also report you for illegal use if they see it in your streams without crediting them in your bio / if your account isn't listed in their logs. for your own sake, just crowdfund it from your community if you can't afford to buy it or save up if you don't have a strong enough currency.

unlike the yami model i've leaked, this model is actually worth the price tag in my opinion, so i'm being stricter with distributing it. like a few people have said above, use the link to test the model, but pay for it if you end up liking it & want to stream with it.

just so y'all know, vgen has confirmed privately via email that they are figuring out a way to add identifying tokens/licenses to every account that downloads files, so if someone downloads a public workupload and reports it to vgen, they will be able to track which account downloaded the original files and ban them from the platform. people who mainly buy models from vgen will be even less willing to share their purchases once that's implemented.

3. conclusion
i personally think the v1.0 model is extremely strong already if you're going to use it. i've bought the prism model too but haven't bothered updating it because i don't like what they've done with the closet app; it's already good enough as it is. but i'm also not a streamer either.

i understand this is a site for pirating and it may seem like """gatekeeping""", but seeing people arguing with Erinya over her correct suggestion is absurd. it's one thing to want the files to test the model (which i support), but it shouldn't become "i'm going to keep asking for free updates because eventually, someone will share them and i won't have to spend anything, even though i can afford to buy it myself if i save up."

yes, i threw my money away on the yami model even though i ended up hating it. but after being able to test senmaku and suiika for free + the other customizables that other people have posted, i've basically made my money back. too many people are always asking and never contributing.
i'm busy tomorrow but i'll go through my DMs and send links when i have time. i might have missed some people who DMed me before.
@refractured What a load of rubbish that VGen created this. I like testing VTuber models, but I'm not a VTuber and I don't intend to be. The least model artists should do is offer a basic, free test with some of the model's tools to see if the buyer will like it or not, instead of throwing money away like in the case of Yami's model, which I probably tested with your link and found to be complete garbage.

honestly i only get models here because i want to test them before buying. my desired vtuber design involves a type of bangs that almost no custom model ever has. if i bought an existing model for 100+ $ and end up not having a feature i need, i'd be pretty down. like ofc i won't use a pirated model for streaming! but with a thing that is so cat-in-the-bag-ish like a custom model, where there's no trial version at all, even with like an ugly unremovable watermark, what else should i do? thank fook this forum exists and people like Ellie exist!

@Lycorislily As much as I can. But I fear with how jobless their little community of trolls and actual harassers is... it's gonna be a chore. I'm gonna focus on keeping this version up, and updates will follow if it's a big improvement or if I manage link stability with reuploads etc...
Hence why I please ask you, if you see a link down or even just feel like it, reupload it to a random file service. (only ones with no sign up for privacy reasons!)
I am also going to experiment with random file names. The I think 2 times it got taken so far it was mass reporting by people who don't even have a right to.
I have their emails lol because services do tell you fun fact! I won't do anything with them because unlike them I don't harass people and I'm not a creep.The only person to even have the qualifications to take it down is the creator. And even then I invoke the fact that file sharing is a grey area in Sweden, streaming is no no, but file sharing is still not illegal.
