@CodeGiver_01 I'd argue The majority ARE takers. lmao. we need more givers, but there's not much incentive when people feel entitled, and the stuff is re-uploaded to vrm by someone else. I honestly wish it was mandatory to contribute in some way, like many other private sharing communities. There is an incredible amount of accounts that have only posted "bump" and it's honestly annoying

@unityenjoyer Quite a few cannot give. Quite a few of us are here because we are skinflint BROKE.
That being said, I have been making it so that if a file gets deleted and I had managed to get it first, I have the option to just drop it off so others can have it too.
Unfortunately, that comes at the cost of Data Space on my end, and I need cash to get more. Does not help that if I HAD cash, I would have been BUYING many of these models in the first place.

I can't really speak on this, but I get what both of you are saying, some people just can't afford the avatars; like, most of the avatars are expensive, I won't lie.
The average prices for copy and pasted avatars is absurd, $40 dollars at least.
When I bought some avatars, the conversion rate was terrible since I live in Canada, but people that do just take and feel entitled in some way to receive an avatar, I've seen a hoard of people that downvoted someone for simply FORGETTING to post the avatar- mind you, it was over A HUNDRED dollars.

@Silence-056 I don't believe they deserved to get downvoted, it is a valid point, I've seen it happen countless times, some people are just selfish.
But being forced to contribute would not work out though, since your point was that some people just can't afford the stuff.

@CodeGiver_01 Yep, especially with the prices for some avatars. I mean, 80 to a hundred dollars is absurd when the main functions are so basic.
I mean, Cryptia is an infamous example, not only withholding some of the better avatars for years on end, but does not even bother to actually update the older and somewhat more beloved models to have vaginal or anal flexes... Which makes no sense on the NSFW models.

I've had my fair share of regrettable purchases for sure. That is a big part of why I'm here. I also find this site nice just to discover things. There are just a handful of people who seem entitled to what other people purchase. it's not everyone. You don't need money to contribute knowledge, scripts, edits/fixes, or textures. 3d models on a game are a luxury. Far from a necessity or a right, and I've seen people straight up act like they deserve the fruits of someone else's labor, just because they are persistent and fixated. I get that some people don't have money. I wouldn't either if I didn't wake up every day and put 10 hours of work in, then set aside a little money for fun. There is a lot of nuance to it all, and I understand everyone has a different situation. I just get irritated by the lack of drive and I suppose complacency of some. A great example is KaylaFox's Loona model. It's one that is not VRC ready. It's built and rigged specifically for blender animations. I saw the request for the base files. I bought them and shared them, asking if anyone would want to collaborate on the port. nobody. not a single person. just people bumping daily for the finished product. so I deleted my post and ported it on my own. It took a lot of time and effort, I've had it for months and I'm not inclined to share it for free anymore. Anyways, I'll check this model out more after work. Since there was a fairly mature response I'll share if I buy it.

@unityenjoyer In all honesty, I am still trying to figure out the porting system of Blender. Does not help that my current hardware is nearly a decade old.
It is why I tend to avoid "Bumping for Unity Port", seeing as I am unable to port anything to Unity myself.
Wish people did not harrass you for "Moar Ports" without contributing themselves. Pretty sure quite a few here have better PCs than I do, and the skills to port models from Blender to Unity. (Pretty sure the Valorlynz Stella model can be ported on later versions of Blender).
