Every single avatar I've ever had of hers has needed so much work to make them look good and function well, I can't justify the cost anymore. Especially when you put all that work in and then she inevitably releases multiple updated versions fixing things that she should have easily caught before publishing. There have been a couple of her avatars that by the time I'm finished with them, I really like them, but there have been more that I put a lot of work into and then still ended up not liking them. Most of her more recent avatars have looked so much worse in game.

And we all know with this last avatar, she rushed it to try to get it out for Christmas, which she just barely managed to do, so she half-assed it even more.

The fact that in that last post she's talking about working on small updates on avatars she put out quite a while ago now is just that much more irritating. Test things before you release them. There's no way a "team of testers" is missing so much on every single avatar. Putting out something that needs so many fixes, then waiting until people have done all their editing and customizing to put out fixed versions is trash.

I'm also confused by Scarlett's justification of "we're literally a single person dev team" -- what does that even mean? There are at least two of you unless Lily and Scarlett are the same person. And they clearly have lots of followers and fans that are willing to help them test and troubleshoot if they actually wanted to do it right. There are lots of individual, independent avatar creators that put out good avatars with so many fewer issues and with a lot less help. And those are the ones I continue to buy from and show loyalty to.

Honestly scarlett is not all bad because here's the thing Scarlett's Katherine avatar even if it is older is still so much better than ANY of lily's recent avatars. and Scarlett actually takes her time and studies one of my friend's work to get ideas and/or inspiration for her own stuff. then you have lazy fuck lily only in it for the quick buck

@Hepyn This throws me back to my highschool discord days..goodness gracious.
Things is I understand TVF is difficult to work with, even SKuny's models have clipping on MAX, but even without bimbo settings she has noticable issues with her avis. This issue has been ongoing for YEARS. I remember when Marietta came out and everyone was mad because they couldn't wear certain clothes without their cheeks and bits spilling out

Also, one person? She is always in a group with them, they clearly share assets and I know they work together because half of her avatars from the past year have a few shapekeys of another creator's edit. She is not alone, not sure why Scarlett has to make it seem like she is some indie/newbie avatar creator. Even if she is, she has been doing this since 2021, has FBT, and on the internet all day so she has all the time in the world to notice issues. I take days on my own edits, kitbashes, and scratch blender projects I make. I barely have active friends on VR and still can find criticism to help me pick out issues.

This is why I avoid many communities like the plague, especially creator or VR related, so much hiveminded clique behaviour. I don't like fearing her bestie is gonna wake up and try to dox me over some clipping then have her other bestie ban me and "blacklist" me from buying from all of their shops XD

@LilithRose_2001 Same... I literally just redid all of her toggles, changed some hair up, etc. I spent a few days on Aurora trying to tweak her. Knowing me I might cave and redo the edited version. Fortunately I backed up some of my edit in case this happened.

@Hepyn The "insults" i was sending was literally just me complaining about the low quality on the avatar, they then started being rude and insulting so I ended up calling the avatar "garbage" before leaving lol
