@buggamagug The only thing I slightly like more on Roblox then VRChat is they have some sort of Ai moderation atl east (even if it can be half assed) preventing certain content to be uploaded which VRChat doesn't, which is why things like gore or nsfw is very easy to upload and be shared.
@RealisticTopics Actually vrchat does have an Ai protection system too funny enough. And after knowing how roblox's is going..Yeah..VRChat won't even let some NSFW things made into emoji's or prints..etc

So I downloaded roblox yesterday to see what was up with all that and holy shit. That game is one big money harvesting operation with mommy's credit card in mind. It costs $10 for a name change, and robux is such a nebulous currency that you need a goddamn calculator just to see how much little timmy's spending. MONETARY BULLSHIT ASIDE holy shit. I played this one japan roleplaying game I found on the front page and got asked to be some dude's gf after like, 30 minutes of mostly AFK'ing. That game is grooming central, holy fuck ahahaha
I'm ngl grooming seems kinda inevitable in a world dominated by widespread internet use. Lots of edgy losers think it's hilarious to post gore in a weak effort to troll someone. I saw plenty of gore when I was a kid with unregistered internet access, in many cases it was just straight up impossible to avoid.
Honestly man, maybe teach your kids about what grooming is, the warning signs, what to do and how to say no. Like dude I'm PAINFULLY aware of how inescapable nsfw stuff shoved in your face is as a kid. I got hella groomed on SO MANY GAMES I PLAYED. I wish I had known wtf was going on, because it felt pretty cool to have all that smoke blown up my ass because back then I was stupid enough to believe it. Sex is also a really tricky topic to discuss with your kids so I get it, but there's literally no escape from edgy losers and perverts, the only way to really prevent it is to tell your kid what to look out for and why it's dangerous.
On another sidenote, don't give your kids weird complexes when it comes to sex. Burning everything in a puritanical fire is gonna make them worse off because they'll grow up to see all intimacy as bad just like me. I'm literally 23 and I STILL struggle with guilt and shame just because I was raised to correlate sex with spiritual purity. Because I was groomed and eventually even assaulted, I couldn't escape those feelings because in my parent's religion, all women are temptresses (and thus the guilty one) by default on behalf of that bitch eve and that stupid fruit she ate. That's why I never told anyone, and also why it escalated to the degree it did. Sex is just a natural part of life, treat it like a normal thing to save for when you're older. Teach anatomical terms in an educational light. It'll help them know without being traumatic. Deep down, we are all sex blood guts n gore, but that shit better stay in.

@zeta.zaza You say that, but I've personally (with the help of 2 other people) have gotten a person I've met on vrchat, whom unfortunately and shamefully was from my own country, arrested on zoophilia (more correct term here would be animal abuse) charges (dude was pretty fked in the head to be fair, and showed several red flags regarding the entire situation). I very much agree with @realistictopics and @bxrry_bugzz . There is no smoke without fire, as they say. At the same time, a few rotten apples can make the entire basket appear bad. Downvoting someone regarding this shows that you are the one being childish here.
