@a-demon all that can be done is a creator trying to find you and thus banning you from purchasing from their store (ironic ik) and their discord and other social media, as we are only consumers in this case (unless you try and sell the leaked stuff ofc, that's illegal). Just don't go directly against vrc tos after you have the assets and you're perfectly fine to upload yourself a private version of the avi without any true legal risk. The only ones at (U.S.) legal risk are the ones hosting the downloads in this case, and those are just punishable by a dmca takedown and possible fines.
Digital assets have been a huge issue these past couple decades to try and keep private, and to even prosecute anything for that matter, and while there might be some penal code somewhere making the act of getting these assets 'illegal,' it would cost more in court fees than what they'd recover from someone uploading leaked assets to a game when the uploader makes no money off of the act themselves.

I ran into the problem that the avatar does not load and gives me an error that I do not understand, I even created a clean project and tried to download it again, but the error repeats

@SillyGooberToob yes, when starting the scene to emulate the game, it gave the error that in the 1st comment, after creating a new scene, the error went away, but I couldn't load the avatar

@AvtorNtet umm are you using the vcc version of poi? added vrcfury, adjerrys.. i think other than modular avatar thats all i used. are you useing version 3.9 or whatever, not 3.10?

@SillyGooberToob that's all I'm using, but this is a new project and I forgot to add modular avatar, but the pull top function doesn't work, or rather it works, but the clothes don't move away.

the error seems to have gone away when loading (apparently something got in the way in the old project), but it remains to solve the problem with the "pull top" function

@SillyGooberToob I have the same thing, there is a function in the game as in unity, but when you turn it on and use it, you can see that the chest rises but the clothes do not move
