Need help with a weird bug with the dova. When i import the aquatic dlc for some reason adding the neck fins just makes the visermes bug like when u talk it talks fast and idk what im importing wrong from that dlc
@Ur-bed okay, maybe i`m late, but this "bug" is because vrchat working with the vismeshes in slightly different way than with normal blend shapes, so it means vrcfurry cannot link the stuff fully and because of it the only workaround for now is to use the vrcfurry advanced vismeshes thing that adds a additional layer and tries to read and replicate the vismeshes movement on the objects that you have added, but its not very well synced to real vismeshes that are being used by vrchat and it will add the jankines.
The only best solution is to edit the avatar mesh and add the stuff by yourself there. But there is a catch - IDK on what drugs the author of avatar was when he created this, but the only prefabs that avatar comes with are unpacked on the scene. It means the updates on the mesh... will be not visible unless you reconstruct the whole structure of avatar from the FBX. Plus there are some silliness on the Armature structure so it means you need to fix them and rebuild the whole rig
-
Oh yeah. So here is a unity package with fixed prefab, so its not unpacked and your mesh edits will work just fine (P.s. the avatar is fully bare bone there, if you want to have original stuff, like wings, you have to reattach them trough blender or unity)
And little bonus is - hands armature is slightly different and you can use the nadro hands that i have picked up from different quadrupal dragon avatar
So it means you do not have a need for that version if you are not knowing how to use blender and stuff, the original version will work just fine for you.
This version is just custom edits friendly so you will skip the annoyances that original version have. -
Maybe i will ask my friend to actually rebuild the wings (both original and feathery) in the way that you can easily attach them trough vrcfury without any annoyances, just because the original animator is a mess. And this is an avatar for 50$... yeah, author definitely have some kind of skill issue.
Upd: here is a mod for feather wings that make them less annoying to use and install, it works only when you have original wing bones removed as on the version above.
Download:
You still have to fix the animator to actually use those wings because armature is rebuilt, but only fix you need to do is to set a different path, so technically this tool will work fine for you: https://github.com/hfcRed/Animation-Repathing
P.s. you can create your own versions based on files that I have provided and freely post the here.

This is the first time I've ever used this app, touched 3d models or anything similar... can someone please tell me does one change color of the dragon? Do I need to draw it myself and then import it? Can I draw directly while I'm editing the dragon? What if I don't want so many stripes on the body and instead have like vine patterns or even just some plain colors?
What I'm trying to say is, can I have a custom color/pattern on this dragon and how does one do it? (I followed the vid tutorial on how to put dlc and change the overall design, just missing the colors)

@Dragon_Izzy If you want to edit the texture extensively (like beyond a simple hue shift) you'll need adobe substance painter, someone shared the cracked version on here

So here is a mod that gives you the ability to attach the default wings via vrcfury onto stripped down version that is posted above.
You still have to set the correct paths in the dragon animator or wings will not work corectly.
(maybe i will try to do the update that doesnt require you fixing the animator but the default animator is super messy and i do not really want to work with that because it will be a pain in ass to strip it down and separate the wings there).
But yeah, stripped down version is meant for smart cookies who will edit the dragon FBX in blender.
P.s.
Here is blender file of this dragon with all original stuff but with replaced hands armature and fixed dragon armature.
P.s. 2
And there is a nardo hands with a propper armature to work with vrcfury

@Ur-bed if the original avatar author makes an update to the original fbx you can just replace the fbx when you use the modified prefab that I have posted (* but you need to make sure that armature structure is correct).
The only point into making the modded fbx was to bypass the fact that in the original... well, prefabs was unpacked on the scene.
And you do not need to be a pro to know that unpacked prefab is a bad thing when it comes to any modifications and I do not know why original author did what he did. -
uploaded the new unitypackage, no update log or changelog was provided so I'm not sure what was changed/fixed if anything was

@Extracted can we get that unity file please?
