@Elmore
PLEASE NOTE:
This runnable .exe requests that the user login to their official pixiv.net account, which is connected to your Booth.pm account.
I don't know if that is some form of DRM or not, but it's very sketchy that a booth avatar would request you do this.Additionally, this software adds itself as an autorun startup application EVERY time you restart Windows; this is also very sketchy.
It adds an entry in your startup apps within your Windows Taskmanager which you can disable; although it shouldn't be there to begin with.
Even disabled, with the file deleted from it's run location; the Taskmanger entry will stay there forever. To remove this item from your startup apps and Taskmanger, navigate to the following Registry location:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartupApproved\Run Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunAnd then delete the entry:
SuyariSoftware.PmmaSoftwareThe Taskmanger item disappeared for me without a restart but you can restart your machine if it doesn't immediately.
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER ENTRIES WITHIN YOUR REGISTRY!
You don't have to follow my advise if you don't want to; I'm just some random person on the internet - but if the startup app bothers you like it did me, consider removing it permanently.Thank you @Elmore for including a separate download link for the extracted UnityPackage.

@Canadadry2 I won't install unverified app from unknown developer to test this, but from what I've checked on the avatar, you only need the .unitypackage to use this avatar 95%, the OSC and software part is linked to the smartphone which runs a custom shader to (by default) show on smartphone a "notification" (with a texture on phone) if someone joined/left the lobby - text/image in japanese - and a 3rd custom slot in shader (replace in unity with custom image), and also local show (PC) time over OSC to the smartphone. Such wow.
I'm unsure about the "browser" part of this software. If you need the "Pmma Software" to even download the avatar's files that's against EU GDPR and various other laws for selling products and digital items(as this wasn't clearly stated). If there's someone here that's bought this and it is the case, please let me know if you want to get them in trouble.

So the PMMA Software wasn't taken lightly by the JP community and eventually leading to it's discontinuation. Can you reupload latest version of PMMA-Chan and Ohatsuidesktop?

It's malware.
Unsuspecting users who didn't know better than to input their Booth username and password in an untrusted app got turned into scraping bots.
Not only does it send the Booth account details to the avatar maker's server, it also checks each purchase in the account, downloads the files, and collects data based on that. There's even mention of it sending the VRC avatar ID to the author when the avatar is built with the tool.
The app is no longer available for download after people took to social media with their findings. The avatar maker claims to be innocent. I call bullshit. You cannot "accidentally" gather user personal details, crawl their accounts and grab data from assets by other stores.

@avatarofcorn I would need to buy it to do this step, but for those who did, you can find the GDPR data protection email address for your own EU country to report this to here.. they do respond in ~30 days.
https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_enVery obviously creator knew what he was doing with the mediocre-looking Chiffon "new avatar", he was trying to have a anti-rip detector/protection. Seems like he's getting into legal trouble over there too..
https://x.com/k4na_de/status/1975557664454418920Definitely new updates will be a redesign of the way smartphone interacts with data over OSC(time and other notifications).
The avatar's matcaps are pretty nice snack.
-
@Elmore You didn't need to take the post with the unitypackage down. It's safe. Contains only the avatar and the outfit.
-
.@Elmore the avatar should be updated with only unity package for everything + osc (ohatsuidekstop) without the verification now. Kindly reup?

"the developer Delivers manual uninstall instructions to existing buyers via BOOTH message And more Activate the automatic uninstall feature on October 12, 2025 at 22:00 He expressed that. 7 This response can be evaluated as a concrete example of corrective measures in incident response, as a consideration for users who lack technical knowledge." would love to get this aswell

this is all the updates the creator has published in his own page explaining some things and what hes gonna do further on
