@engjk might be hardware limitation. I experienced the same issue when I purchased a model from Aci for the first time before upgrading my laptop.

I have the bisyoujyo soda model, HOWEVER. it's a blend file, and while it is rigged for mmd and vmd's within blender and i've even exported it as a seperate pmx model, the materials are not baked in(i.e. there are no texture image files), as far as i can see. i'm gonna try and figure it out myself (unless someone here knows how to do it.). But i'm gonna assume that's how their other models are set up as far the description for goes.

now, i'll admit i know very little about blender, and can not say whether this is reasonable amount of things for shading, but to me this looks excessive (albeit neatly laid out). surely there was a better way to do this.
i have a feeling that's why there were no baked textures
i thought i was gonna actually gonna bake that bigass pie, the bar got to 100 and then went back to 0 and then displayed that ridiculous time. so maybe it has to bake each individual model segment (each box is eye, mouth eyelash etc.).

well i actually went and done it, but accidentally set my oven to the low poly dead inside aesthetic setting.
jokes aside, as i've never done this before so it may be that i baked it wrong. i'll look into it some more and see if i can get something closer to the right image. might also have to figure out how to make the eyes as a separate mesh to the face, as that makes things easier for tex editing.
