@MIKEUNIX94 @YIFFYJIFFYR34 it's not like most creators don't already know about this site. hence why most put it behind a huge paywall or the private unless we're best friend and/or you're a creator wall, but you underestimate people. when there's a will there's a way. and we always find a way

I checked the nexus mod link that I got the mod from, looks like the mod got taken down. This doesn't impact my ability to work on this project, and frankly I'm quite confused as to why it got taken down, it's not like they can remove the files from my drive by doing so.
In the interest of preservation, here's the file of the mod that I pulled the Aggron model from (this is not the avatar, this is the mod I ripped it from which was linked further up in the chat that I am posting so people can still access it if they want)
Don't have much in the way of updates, I'm still sick, been doing some of the tedious but easy stuff today just to get myself back in it
edited to add - went and looked for the forum rules out of curiosity and found that I might have been breaking them with the image uploads, so I've edited my prior posts here to remove the images and will be posting them via google drive or something in future. Sorry if I've been breaking the rules

noticeable changes is that the ears have bones now and are rigged (needs a cleaning pass but the whole thing does, that'll be one of my final blender steps) and the topology is mostly re-quadded since the Halo engine turned the model into individual tris

Did you use Ninja Ripper to rip the avatar? When I ripped it a bit ago not all textures exported correctly and was only able to get the body and "clothes" @idkjustacat
@Mako_xvii Ninja Ripper gave me an even more cooked version of the avatar exported in little disjointed pieces with no rigging and no UVs, and on top of that the pieces were stretched an indeterminate amount. I ended up using a different method to pull a model directly from the mod files itself. There was still some loss, I've spent a lot of time cleaning up the mess the engine-prepared version had and I'm likely going to have to retexture it (and the textures included in the mod aren't anywhere close to the original quality anyway), but it's still a lot less work than what I got from Ninja Ripper would have been
also, apologising in advance for the speech visemes being a little whack, it's difficult to figure out how the mouth would look when she's producing speech as she has no teeth
