@serenith The 4.1.5 update looks absolutely phenomenal—every tweak feels like a warm cup of cocoa for the soul!

Your clear UI improvements are exactly what we needed—it’s like someone finally organized our digital closet! 🧺And to offer such dedicated support on top of it all? Truly above and beyond—we’re sending you virtual confetti!

@serenith Thank you so much for this wonderful add-on!
This might just be my personal issue, but when I browse for costumes on Booth and end up opening too many tabs, Chrome tends to slow down temporarily. It also seems to cause excessive access to forum.ripper.store.
If possible, would you consider adding an option like "Only activate on tabs where the switch in the bottom-right corner is turned ON"? (For now, I’m managing by turning it off in the extensions menu, but a more selective feature would be really helpful!)

@serenith Thank you for your lightning-fast response!

I've had to stop using it because it starts making my firefox slow down then lock up. was great use while it lasted

Hello, recently "An error occurred. An unexpected error occurred. Please try again." started to popup instead of search results. I am using it with latest Chrome(139.0.7258.139), Booth Searcher version is v4.1.5.4
-
@serenith I keep getting the same error :<

@Menheracore i found out that in my particular case the error was caused by my VPN. Maybe you too have something like this turned on?

I understand—search functions can indeed put a significant load on the server...
To be honest, I’ve also found it harder to post lately, especially with emoji displays included, and I wonder if it might be better if not everything had to be automatic or updated every single time for everyone.
(It would be really helpful if there were an option, like having search-only-run-when-a-button-is-pressed mode enabled by default, for example.) -
I IŪ referenced this topic on

I’ve actually had a slight sense of something being off for a while, but it was only recently that I became sure of it:
When your extension sends searches to the forum, it seems to be performing not only URL-based searches but likely keyword-based ones as well, right? What I suspect is happening is that every time a single product page is opened,
multiple search requests are being sent to the forum’s server—probably without any delay between them.I fully realize that what I’m bringing up isn’t exactly a fun topic
—in fact, it might understandably dampen your motivation as the developer.
This wonderful extension, which we use daily and has been such a great help to all of us, is something I’m deeply grateful for.
I’m also aware that raising this might even risk the possibility of you deciding to take it down… and that’s the last thing I’d want. But if it’s at all possible… would you consider adding some kind of toggle feature
—something that’s easier on the server, like an ON/OFF switch per a way to control the request frequency?Prof.serenith, thank you so much for always helping everyone with such generosity.
Thanks to the extension you developed and shared with us, we’ve been able to connect and collaborate so much more easily.
I truly appreciate your kindness from the bottom of my heart.![[TOOL] Booth Searcher – Chrome Extension_7412711.png](/assets/uploads/files/1757745717915-tool-booth-searcher-%C3%A2-chrome-extension_7412711.png)
